Everyday Makeup Updated

Lets talk makeup, one of my favorite topics. I have always loved going to Ulta walking around and finding new products to try. Recently I have found some really awesome keepers there but what I am most excited to show you comes from Cosmakery. Cosmakery is a small FEMALE owned business right here in Michigan. All products are cruelty free and clean from parabens, sulfates, fragrance, mineral oil, gluten, and lead. I first came across them on Instagram and decided I had to try their sculpting sticks out and let me tell you, they did not disappoint.

The photo to the left is a full face with just using the light and medium-deep sculpting sticks, no foundation! I just ordered their bronzer, buffing brush, setting spray, lip stick, and lip gloss so I can not wait to try those and let you know what I think. If you are interested in trying their makeup or just checking them out, you can click their website here. https://www.cosmakery.com/

CoolSculpting

I knew this blog was going to be a hard one for me to write but I had no idea it would take me this long to just finish and post it. I feel very vulnerable about sharing the pictures that are below. I started this blog to help inspire, teach, and show women what can happen when you have a little faith. To do that I need to show that I am relatable and that I am willing to put myself out there even if it is hard for me.

For as long as I can remember I have had an excessive amount of fat cells under my chin. I was told it was probably hereditary and a result of having a rounder face. It caused some serious insecurities for me growing up and even more as I got into my twenties. It especially became something I thought about often after a stranger pointed it out at the bar this past summer.

How I curl my hair

How I curl my hair

Hey loves! So I thought I would finally post the most anticipated video, how I curl my hair. I use a Hot Tools Signature Series in Gold curling iron, size 1.25. I spray my hair first with Aveda Heat Relief thermal protector & conditioning mist. This heat protectant can be sprayed on dry hair and not leave the hair wet like most.

Products,products, products

It’s all about the products! My natural hair tangles easy, is frizzy, and quite honestly looks like a mess when I let it air dry. During this time (quarantine), I am trying not to put heat on my hair everyday. So, using the right products is really important for me to achieve the frizz free, shine, and control I need to help maintain my natural hair.

Quick Easy Quarantine Hairstyle

As a hair stylist during this time I have gotten countless messages on tips, tricks, and questions. As I am trying to do my part by staying home and staying safe, I am not doing any “side hair” out of the salon. Instead I have decided to post some tutorials and things I am doing to keep my hair looking fresh and styled.

Quarantine hair, I dont care…or do I?

Are you sick of looking in the mirror and seeing your new growth? I am, I want my blonde back more than ever. I did some research and found a few products that worked for me. These products are not made to completely cover up your new growth, especially for blondes. They are designed to help blend and blur that harsh line you see.
